What an incredible thing.
The cemented bond between two people.
For better or worse,
they are together as one whole piece.

The road begins as a simple friendship.
A random encounter that changes their lives forever.
The circumstances of the meet,
it matters not.
All that matters
is that it formed the foundation for the future.

The friendship grows,
common ground reached.
A relationship has been taking shape.
Playful laughter and romantic moments shared.
For as long as it takes,
through any possible trials,
the bond grows ever tighter.

Time passes by,
a milestone now has arrived.
Love is at its peak.
The time has come,
a question is asked.
A "Yes!" follows
and a ring slides on a finger.

Bells are ringing,
their chimes echoing in the sky.
Friends and family have gathered.
A momentous day is about to begin.
The preacher gives his speech.
"I do." is repeated twice.
Rings are presented,
ceremony complete.
Applause can be heard,
celebrating the newly-wed lovers.

It took much time for this magnificent journey to be complete.
However, now begins the journey as man and wife.
