Well, first off,

, thank you for sort of helping me realize this.
Throughout the months of intense writer's block, I have doubted my own ability to write anything several times throughout the course of these months. I feel that I have long since strayed off the creative path and lost touch with my own sense of originality. I have long since lost that "spark" to write again. I just can't find that inspiration.

Not only does it affect my will to write, it is obvious that it affects the quality of my work.
I doubt many will help (which will be alright), but I would just like to see if anyone might have some ideas that could help me out here. Any help would be appreciated.

I should start choosing featured artists soon. Also, feel free to nominate an artist. Just note me with a link to their gallery and I'll take a look.

If you hold out a little longer, i'm sure inspiration will come to you in no time. Or if that doesn't work, you can take a break from writting for a while. That will most likely give you a lot less stress and let your mind relax for a while. During this time you could reflect on what is causing your writter's block and try to find a way to resolve it. Inspiration is almost 100% guaranteed to come to you if your mind is calmed and focused.
Hope this helps

In your case, I'd say just write in your journal here. Tell us about your day as if it was an epic story, then try a horror novel to tell us about the next day, a mystery the 3rd day, or whatever you wish. They say keep your eyes and mind open, as you never know what can strike thee with the inspiration you need to return to what you were capable of doing.

One of the best solutions to me is music.
when I hear a song that actually relates to the picture I'm thinking I burn up with inspiration.
Talking with other people a lot could also make an idea hit you in the face.
Inspiration comes and goes and sometimes in the weirdest ways.

I'm a figment of your imagination!
OoooooOOooooOOooooOoooo! *swings arms around*
Did I scare you?
I tend to only write fiction when I'm in the mood too. Like we've discussed before, you should never force yourself, you'll only end up getting more frustrated.
But I agree with some of the above: you need to find motivation again. Or maybe something new to motivate you all together.
For example, you have long been a writer of fan fiction. Maybe the problem is as of late you feel you know the genre too well and have experimented so much with it you have lost a degree of passion for it.
Maybe you should try writing something entirely original of yuor own creation, possibly in the fantasy genre -- I know you really like that.

I think it's very much about insperation. Maybe you have gotten too much into 'writing' and not as much into 'writing to express your ideas'. The former is fairly mechanical, the latter is the fun part where you put those writing skills to use to show off your awesome ideas
Why not take the advice you gave me? Look through a gallery, pick out a picture you like and try to think of a story behind it, eg, like it's a snapshot of a scene you want to explain. It certiany got me in the mood to write when you suggested it to me
Hmm, well, I've been tacking the subject of insperation and being confident with my own work recentley. In terms of confidence, if you are writing/drawing something and know there are mistakes and errors, just awknowledge that and carry on, going back to fix those issues in your next peice. The important thing is just too keep writing/working in your medium.
In terms of ideas/insperation, my personal favorite method is to close my eyes, sit in slience, ask the question 'what should I draw' (or any other question, like 'what kind of outfit would look good on this character) and just let my mind wander in silence until an idea makes me smile, laugh, or literally bolt upright and grab a pencil and paper. Maybe you could try it?
Also, in terms of insperation and self-confidence, personally I go by the rule,'draw for fun and worry after, not before I work'. If you have a fun, silly, or strange idea, don't question yourself, stay in the moment and get it down, THEN look back on it and and decide what you want to do with it. Helped me out when I wasn't sure if people would be interested in looking at my silly doodles. Maybe it can help with your writing skills too.
Also, there is giftart, trades, commissions, etc you could try.
Anyway, feel free to chat to me about this kind of thing because as you know this sort of subject really interests me and I love to help out buddies in your situation
Oh, thanks for the featured sumbission too, I appreciate it

Art is meant to be an unconstrained expression of the inexpressiable. It's our way of telling each other things we feel but are unable to put into words. It is ultimatley, the only real way of sharing who we really are with the rest of the world -Dilbert
