B-Day Approacheth, leave of absence, other updates

It is just something I don't really want to do.
Some people are already aware of this, but I will go ahead and announce it here. Sometime within the next month, I likely will be taking a leave to attend to some personal matters. Expect me gone from 5-7 days. I will be taking my laptop with me, but that is just so I can do some schoolwork and not fall behind in my classes if I can. The only reason I don't know when I exactly I will be leaving is because it is going to be a very last-minute thing.
Bought Halo 3: ODST the other day. It has been very fun so far to say the least. Still need to get some games set up with friends though.
School is going pretty well. Mythology and InDesign are still a piece of cake. The animation courses are a bit of a bore though to be honest. Hopefully they will get better. I also plan to get my Civic Honors this year. It takes 50 hours of community service to get it, but it will be worth it.
Going to work for 8 hours at a local food bank on Saturday.I finally got hooked into an anime as well recently. Black Lagoon. It just seems like my kind of show!
I have watched the entire first season so far and plan to start on the second season soon.I plan to either buy the Adobe collection that I mentioned last time or get a new desktop computer this month.
Time to move away from this increasingly-crappy laptop. XD I most likely will wait until after my leave to purchase it though. We'll see.The rise to 100K is slow, yet steady.
Hopefully I can get a new chapter of Tightrope up shortly as well.
Finally, for those looking forward to me hosting another Secret Santa, you can expect me to start sign-ups within the next couple of days.
I am hoping to double the number of participants I got last year. The rules will primarily stay the same, but I discuss those in the sign-up journal whenever it is posted. Yes, I know I am starting it much earlier than I did last year, but again, I just want to get more people involved in the fun! Sign-ups will likely last for around 3 weeks before I start to tell who is making something for who and whatnot.That is all for now!

ODST is the current game you're playing, right? I've heard a few things about the game... tell me, is it really worth $60? I've been thinking of getting a new 360 game, but I'm torn between a few games.
